The Mississauga Children’s Choirs seasonal concert A Star in the East was presented on Sunday Dec 4th at the Royal Bank Theatre, Living Arts Centre. Our own young talented stars took us on a musical journey beyond our galaxy. The theme of the program produced some thoroughly charming and interesting music in a wide range of styles, regions and historical periods.
This coming Saturday Dec 10th our choristers will be joining six other choirs; St. Paul’s Bloor St. Church (Toronto), All Saints’ Anglican Church (Peterborough), St. Peter’s Anglican Church (Mississauga), St. Jude’s Anglican Church (Oakville), St. Martin-in-the Fields (Toronto) and St.Giles Kingsway Presbyterian Church (Toronto) as well as the Canadian Staff Band of the Salvation Army at the 33rd Annual Toronto Star Christmas Carol Concert. We hope to see you there supporting the Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund.
If you miss us there, we will also be carolling at the annual Mississauga Mayors Levee at City Hall on New Year’s Day.
